Juveneille Awards Night 2024

The awards night took place on Sunday 23rd February in the Carrigaline Court hotel. A lovely evening was had by everyone. First up, were the FE10 who were recognised for winning the hurling shield in the Mossie Walsh tournament which was held in Mayfield. The FE10 footballers were given recognition for the cup win in the Joe Mullane memorial tournament also held in Mayfield. Next up, the FE11 hurling team were presented with a jersey from their day at the Aindriú Ó hEithir memorial tournament in Dublin. The jersey from hosts Ballinteer St John's Dublin was given in recognition of their section win of the blitz.. The triumphant FE12 hurling team who won the Rebel Og League in a great final against Ballincollig, were presented with medals. Finally, it was the turn of the FE18 footballers, who were double winners, taking the Rebel Og East Cork Div2 League final and Championship Shield , The individual awards were presented to FE16 players Liam Collins and Josh O' Callaghan for representing the club on the Cork U16 football team. Keith Flood was awarded for this representation on the Cork U16 Hurling team for 2024.
Well done to all our teams. Thank you to the coaches, mentors, supervisors for all our teams. The time and dedication you all put into the teams week in week out is very much valued.
The underage teams were looking very dapper in 2024, wearing new jerseys at their matches. These were very kindly sponsored by various businesses. The Ballygarvan Minor team of 2024 presented the FE8 team with jerseys, the McCarthy Insurance Group(FE10 jerseys), The Pavilion, Ballygarvan(FE11 jerseys), The Brady Group - Mike Brady (FE12 jerseys), , kepak ,Cork - Noel & Claire Flood and House of Heat - Emmet & Marianne Martin (FE18, Home and away jerseys).
The club would like to mention that a presentation will be made to Charlie O' leary, Mike Brady and to Sean O' Riordan at a later date.
Thank you to Seán Brady for presenting the teams with their medals. We wish Seán the very best in the 2024 season on the Cork Football team. A special mention to Cian of R2 Sports for their continued support and contributing towards the cost of the awards nights.
