Re-Opening Notice And Membership

Folks as we approach the re-opening of our facilities and our imminent return to training and matches the issue of the Corona virus pandemic must be kept in focus.

As part of the re-opening process all players or their parent/guardian have a responsibility to confirm their health status in respect of the Corona virus. This is to be an online process which will be done using the secure GAA App. Adult Players or the parent/guardian of Juvenile Players will need to complete the Health Questionaire before the first training session or game and will have to reconfirm this status online before all subsequent training sessions and games until further notice. This is a key part of any contact tracing that will need to be done in the event of an outbreak of the virus. This facility will be released on the GAA App prior to our re-opening but I would recommend members get set up on the GAA App as soon as possible.

As has just been announced today Saturday 20th June by GAA Headquarters clubs re-opening will now be as follows:
Adult Players from 24/06/2020 and Minors and all other juvenile Players from 27/06/2020.

For the initial reopening phase, please do not present to the club if you have not completed the health questionnaire or if you are not currently registered as a member of the club. Please make contact with club officials if you require any assistance with these matters.

All players and parents/guardians are required to complete an e-learning module on Covid-19 prior to the recommencement of training. Printed proof or a screenshot of completion is required.
Each team will have a Covid Supervisor who will check these details prior to allowing any player to play or train.

If you do not already have this app please download it and ensure you include your up to date contact details and have paid your club membership. As in previous years all players must have paid their membership before they are allowed to play or train. Membership details are listed below.

Membership fees for 2020 are as follows:
Adult (players) €150.
Adult (Concession) €100.
Underage (1st child and parent) €100.
2nd and subsequent children €65 each.
Non-playing Adults €45.
Pensioners €10.
While Membership fees have increased since 2019 the €60 contribution has finished so all players will be paying less in 2020
